From a seafaring background, Bryce began his career on charter and commercial fishing boats, followed by attending the California Maritime Academy where he graduated as a 3rd Mate Unlimited. With extensive experience in ports and marine terminals, Ashwin has played a pivotal role in the design, rehabilitation, and inspection of a wide range of facilities, including bulk terminals, container terminals, cruise terminals, and oil and gas berths. His work spans structural design, mooring analysis, and compliance with industry standards to optimize terminal performance and resilience. Ashwin’s expertise extends to managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering solutions that meet both operational and environmental demands.  

Additionally, Ashwin has significant experience in deepwater oil and gas projects in the Gulf of Mexico, where he has contributed to the design and installation of offshore platforms and mooring systems. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas, Florida, California, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, he has led critical infrastructure projects in these states, with a focus on ports and marine terminals in Florida, Texas, and California.  

Ashwin has been happily married to his wife, Vijisha, for 12 years and is a proud father to his 9-year-old daughter, Naina. A lover of creativity and the outdoors, Ashwin enjoys gardening, fishing, and building wooden furniture in his free time.

Transitioning ashore, Ayman served as an Assistant Professor delivering USCG approved marine engineering courses with SUNY Maritime College (NY), and led the establishment of the LNG center of excellence for clean energy, he also became a subject matter expert for the Liberian Ship Registry (the largest ship registry) where he provided technical support for marine design projects.

His expertise covers classification regulatory standards, HAZID/HAZOP studies, BWTS/Scrubbers installations, alternative arrangements for exemptions and equivalency related to offshore units, LNG fueled vessel, alternative fuels and decarbonization projects.

He is a chartered engineer, chartered marine engineer, a fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects RINA, a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology IMarEST, and a member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors IIMS.
