Diogo holds a BEng in Control & Automation Engineering and joined the offshore marine industry, initially focused on DP Software customer support.

Before joining ABL, Diogo worked as an Electrical and Automation Field Service for Wartsila Brazil. During this time, Diogo delivered support to Electrical and Automation Systems provided by Wartsila, such as IAS, PMS, Variable Frequency Driver, Switchboard, Propulsion and Engines.

Before joining Wartsila, Diogo worked as a DP Software consultant for Kongsberg Maritime do Brasil. During this time, Diogo attended Vessels and Rigs on the South American coast for troubleshooting DP software, sensors and reference systems; Preparing and implementing DP software updates; Thruster Scaling; DP Model Tuning; High-Speed Tuning; Drilling; Position Mooring; Offshore Loading; Assist Team Leader and Key Support Managers for Dry dock, EOW maintenance plan, customer meetings, coordinate technical resources and develop new hires.

Gustavo has a solid background in complex maritime projects, including new building projects, vessel delivery, propulsion upgrades, dry docking, and drilling activities. He has been actively involved in transporting, installing, and decommissioning offshore units, including towing and mooring operations. Additionally, he is experienced in P&I inspections and suitability & conditions surveys for marine vessels and offshore units. His technical expertise extends to propulsion and thruster systems, engines, electronic drives, automation, and dynamic positioning (DP) systems.

He is a mechanical engineer who graduated from Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA, Brazil) and has extensive experience in AIM acquired through Reliability and Maintenance management roles in the chemical, petrochemical, and offshore oil and gas industries.

He holds a master’s degree in finance from Universitè d’Angers in France and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV, Brazil) in Business Management. He is also a specialist in Advanced Project Management from Universitè Paris Nanterre (France). Mauricio has over 15 years of background in commissioning, operations and maintenance support, inventory and materials management, mechanical integrity strategy optimisation, Risk Based Inspection (RBI), and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

With a focus on creating a highly reliable organisational culture, Mauricio led several industrial initiatives to eliminate unplanned events while implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions. He has experience in creating and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies based on World Class Maintenance techniques with successful and sustainable results.

Fábio has worked alongside London and Brazilian lawyers and ABL specialists in the preparation of numerous expert witness reports including seaworthiness issues and unsafe port claims.

Fábio also undertakes mooring and stability analyses in support of casualty investigations. He assisted in the analysis of VDR recordings in investigations into allisions and collisions and has attended on site representing P&I and H&M interest on wreck removals.

He has assisted on the analysis and approval of trip in tow for unrestricted ocean towage of cargo barges and FPSOs and on the preparation of anchoring, mooring and berthing plans.

Fábio has also assisted on availability study of Terminals, considering environmental aspects, and operational restrictions on ship-to-ship operations and on gap analysis of Terminals considering operational and regulatory aspects.
